How long does it take to get started?

You can start using TrainingEvals.com_SM basic services right away. We will setup your user name and password and provide you with a user guide to assist you. You can begin capturing data that same day.

 

Do I have to create my own evaluations and reports before I can start?

No. TrainingEvals.com_SM services are designed to keep the process simple. You can use the evaluation, report and email templates immediately and do not have to wait for special customization.

The benefit of this approach is that you start capturing the data you need immediately and you don't waste time and money trying to decide on special customization features that may not be beneficial. After several months of using the services, you may begin to identify the types of customizations that would truly be a benefit to your company. You can request customization at any time.

 

How long does it take to get customized evaluations, reports, or email messages?

We will complete your customization for you. Once agreed on, we ask you to anticipate approximately two weeks for customization to be complete. This will allow us time to meet your needs and the needs of other users as well. We will always give you the opportunity to view the customization before making it a part of your system. Customization requiring more complex changes or enhancements to basic functions may require additional time and effort.

Can I add my logo to the evaluations and reports?

We can add your logo for you as one type of customization.

 

How much does it cost to get customized features?

In order to meet your specific needs we will give you an estimate of cost for you to approve before we begin the work. Basic changes such as changing the words on the questions in the template are very affordable.

 

How do I compile the evaluation results so I can analyze the data?

By using TrainingEvals.com_SM services you will be able to send a request by email to your students and their supervisors asking them to complete the evaluation form on-line. The email will contain the simple instructions they need to quickly access the evaluation. When they click "submit' at the end of the evaluation, their responses are stored immediately in the TrainingEvals.com_SM services database.

You will have access to report templates that are designed to compile the data for you and display it for you in a user-friendly format. You do not have to compile the data or use a special query process.

 

Are the responses of my students and supervisors confidential?

Yes, the database is designed to maximize confidentiality. There is no connection in the database between the individual and his or her responses to evaluation questions.

 

Can I access the data in any other format?

Since confidentiality is an important aspect of training evaluation, your data is stored in the database in a manner that is designed to maximize the confidentiality of the students and their supervisors. For this reason, we do not provide unrestricted access to data. We will gladly work with you to protect the confidential nature of the data while addressing your data access needs. There are several different ways you might want to access the data. We can create additional report templates or an interface for you that will allow you to export your data to an Excel spreadsheet or another type of spreadsheet software. How secure is my data?

Your data is stored on a physically secure server located within the facilities of Science Applications International Corporation, (SAIC). We use several layers of security features to protect your data including firewalls and password protection.

Your data belongs to you. We will not use your data or make it available to a third party unless you provide us with prior written permission.

 

What does "fully-hosted" mean?

"Fully-hosted" means that the application software, server, and data storage are provided for you. You will not have to install anything or setup your own web-site. You save money and resources by allowing us to maintain the software, server, and data for you. All you need is a computer, Internet connectivity and email.

 

Can I use TrainingEvals.com_SM services to evaluate computer-based and web-based training?

Yes you can. You can administer the evaluation process separate from your courses or we can create an electronic link for your students to use after they complete their course. We will work with you to design and implement a solution that will best meet your needs.

 

How can I integrate TrainingEvals.com_SM services with my own Learning Management System?

We will work with you to identify a solution that will minimize your duplication of data entry activity.
